The Gibraltar College Language School is pleased to extend their existing range of language courses to our learners (5 – 11 years old).

Do you want your children to learn a new language as an extra curricular activity or continue their language studies? Do you want your children to be able to speak a new language? The Gibraltar College is pleased to extend its languages offering to young learners. The 10 week courses on offer will teach children how to exchange information in everyday situations in an enjoyable, friendly learning environment.

Why we encourage children to learn a second language through our Language School program?

COURSE STRUCTURE:

Programmes will consist of 10 taught one-hour sessions, running on Thursdays from 8 October to 17 December 2026, with no session during the October mid-term week.

Each session will include a mixture of speaking, listening and reading activities, keeping learning as interactive and practical as possible. The programme aims to encourage the use of new vocabulary and build children's confidence in speaking the language.

Children will take part in singing activities, games and quizzes, ensuring all learners can engage in a fun, stress-free learning environment. Pupils will also have opportunities to use and explore their new language through practical activities and, where appropriate, local visits.

Applications open Monday 21 September 2026 and close Friday 2 October 2026.
