INTRODUCTION
The NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning is a comprehensive qualification for individuals working directly with children and young people in primary, secondary, special schools, or colleges. It provides an in‑depth understanding of the knowledge and practical skills required to deliver high‑quality specialist support in the classroom.
Learners will be working or on placement in a real learning environment during part of the course, as this qualification requires the demonstration of competence in practice.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
A good school/college report
4 GCSE passes with minimum grade E or grade 3 (or equivalent) including GCSE English Language Grade 4/C.
COURSE STRUCTURE
The Diploma is made up of 16 mandatory units, all of which must be completed to achieve the full qualification.
All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally quality assured by NCFE.

ACADEMIC PROGRESSION
Completing this course opens the door to a range of higher level study options within education and childcare. The Diploma also carries UCAS points (32), which can support entry into relevant university programmes.
CAREER PROGRESSION
This qualification equips learners with the knowledge and practical competence needed for a wide range of roles in schools and colleges such as Family Support Worker, SNLSA and Early Years Practitioner.
