Notice: Changes to ABRSM Refund Policy

We would like to inform all candidates and their guardians that, effective September 2024, Gibraltar College will no longer be issuing refunds for ABRSM examinations. The last series for which refunds will be processed is May and June 2024

Refunds for the current series will be processed at the beginning of July and will typically take between 6 to 8 weeks to complete.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2023

Please note ABRSM have taken the decision to not offer Practical Exams (Face-to-Face) in Gibraltar. However, Performance Grades which are available on demand will continue to be offered giving candidates the opportunity to create and perform their own programme of music.   

Please see below information regarding ABRSM registration and exams:

1. Registration: Students/Parents who have not previously registered are required to register through ABRSM. You can find the registration details on the ABRSM homepage  ABRSM: Homepage

2. Theory (Grades 1-5), Performance Grades, and ARSM exams: These are now available on demand, without specific booking periods.  Once the exam is booked, you will have 28 days to take the exam (Theory) or submit video (Performance Grade). To be eligible for a refund, these exams need to be booked either in May/June or November/December and completed/submitted before 30th June or 31st December of corresponding year.
